The British Are Leaving, The British Are Leaving...

...Iraq, that is.

They began withdrawing their troops from their last base in Basra. Because of this, the Iraqi military sent hundreds of reinforcements to Basra (about frickin time.) The British are in the process of moving these troops into Afghanistan, (where they should have been all along.)
However, the head of the security committee for Basra fears that the Iraqi military is incapable of maintaining order. (Hmmm, we can send our soldiers halfway across the world and have them killed by the thousands and the Iraqi military, which has been training for over 4 years now, is still incapable of maintaining order. Unbelievable.

In the meantime, a second retired British general slammed the United States over its Iraq policy, saying in a newspaper interview published Sunday that it had been "fatally flawed" blaming Donald H (for horrible) Rumsfeld for dismissing warnings in 2003 about the lack of detail that had gone into the postwar plan.

The first retired British general also singled out Rumsfeld for criticism, saying his approach to the invasion was "intellectually bankrupt."

You did a heck of a job, Rumy!!
